The Elf Holy Land 'Loso Loralin' is too far away.
It is located at the eastern edge of the continent, deep inside the Vast Sea Prairie. Without using a teleportation circle, Bartlett estimates it would take him over a year to reach it. Perhaps two years or longer, who knows? Anything can happen on the journey, and a careless stumble can be fatal in the barren wilds.
Even with a teleportation circle to reach the border city of the Holy Kingdom of Alaso and then crossing the endless Vast Sea Prairie, it would still take nearly two months under the most ideal, non-lost circumstances.
There is no teleportation circle within the Holy Land, as it is the elves' last sanctuary.
Furthermore, even if Bartlett could overcome all obstacles and reach the Elf Holy Land safely, the proud and conservative elves would be unlikely to grant his request. Bartlett guesses that the pointy-eared ones would not even allow him to touch a hint of the air within 'Loso Loralin'.
