The door on the west side of Ram's Horn Town was made of sturdy, rot-resistant elm wood and wrapped in a thick layer of iron sheet. The iron was painted black, with copper-plated strips forming a tight 'X' pattern. However, large areas of both the paint and plating had faded, making the door look like a person suffering from a skin disease, covered in spotty rust marks.
The door was half-open, one side propped up with a wooden block, while the other side leaned against a nearby wall, as if something had slammed it open by force.
This door was habitually referred to as the main entrance because it faced Trileaf City — once the capital of Tomiri Kingdom.
As Bartlett and Little Ghost approached this door, a giant rusty iron hook suddenly flew out of the darkness outside the gate.
With dark red-to-black bloodstains on it, the hook struck like a venomous snake, narrowly missing Bartlett's body and accurately hooking one of the Corpse Eater Ghouls behind him.
