Alvin's response allowed the Nordic man to breathe a sigh of relief, "I am sincerely grateful to you, Master Alvin!" He rose to express his thanks, and found a nearby red oak tree to lean against while he stood.
After the Nordic man, a young noblewoman in an elegant embroidered gown approached gracefully.
The young lady came before Alvin and took out a pink silk handkerchief. She carefully wiped the chair that many people had sat in before her. Then, with a somewhat disgusted expression, she sat down on the edge of the chair.
She adjusted her gown and gave Alvin a charming smile. She then placed a small, exquisite jewelry box on the center of the table and, with a light, white finger, pushed it towards Alvin, gesturing for him to open the box.
