When the ferocious wild boar meat stewed for three days was served, Bartlett had just finished devouring the plate of meat juice and roasted onions. He used a thick piece of bread to scrape the remaining meat juices from the bottom of the plate, cleaning it so well that not even a stray dog would give it a second glance. With food in his stomach, he felt slightly better, but his appetite only increased.
Camille placed the stewed wild boar meat in front of Bartlett, and took away the empty plate of meat juice and roasted onions.
"If every customer could be like you, my work would be a lot easier," she said with a smile. "Washing dishes is not an easy job, and the water from Blue Yarn Creek is really too cold."
"Let Fatty Donny hire another person to help you with your work," Bartlett suggested. "So you don't have to be a waitress, a sous chef, and a dishwasher."
