Throughout Bartlett's adventuring career, he had encountered a wide variety of magical beasts and strange creatures, both big and small. Many of these creatures had become spirits under his sword, traded for piles of mesmerizing, golden coins.
Because of this, Bartlett felt he would not be surprised by any type of monster, with the exception of the Dragon Clan, whom he had not encountered yet. However, the huge creature before him, even when viewed from a distance, still filled him with an indescribable sense of awe.
Compared to the Frost Insect they had captured earlier, this creature was as different as a dwarf and an ogre. Well, it might not be that exaggerated, but the difference was still considerable.
Even with its massive body, the Frost Insect moved silently over the light blue thick moss, making no sound at all. It only made some faint crunching noises when it chewed the moss.
