The hall inside the tower was much larger than Bartlett had imagined.
The surrounding walls were carved with mysterious purple and gold patterns that spread like veins, connecting to towering stone arches. Dozens of giant human-shaped stone arches bent at the waist, their hands raised to support the vast dome above.
The dome was like an abyss, layered and spiraling upwards. The faint light grew dimmer with height, ultimately hiding in the heart-pounding chaotic darkness. However, at the center of the darkness, a fire-like starlight flickered in and out of sight in the chaos.
These vast and magnificent sights did not attract Bartlett's attention too much, because the fully activated crystal cluster-shaped construct golems surrounding them had already made him dare not be distracted in the slightest.
"Won't you invite us to the reception hall for some tea, Cotana?" Theodore Goldbright looked up and asked the female phantom in mid-air, "Mage Kian never treated guests like this."
