Sara opened her eyes gently. What greeted her sight was a sea of blinding white. She frowned and made to sit up but her body was wracked with terrible pain.
"Oh..." Sara frowned and bit her lips. Her head ached terribly as numerous memories flashed through her mind. It was a mild summer afternoon and a young girl ran happily around the garden in a pink dress chased by the maids while laughing happily. Another memory flashed of three brothers taking their sister to the school fighting on who would hold her hands, another of her parents celebrating her birthday like a princess, spoiling her... So many memories that didn't belong to her. It made her head ache.
Finally, her head stopped aching. Sara stretched her body and felt pain rack her bones. She grinned. Yes! She had the body now. She was no longer a wandering soul. Her eyes flashed with a dark light. Wait for me brothers! I'll be back to the Capital very soon!
She remembered her promise to the host and snorted. Should she just kill off everyone in the family...?
Just as she thought like that, a sharp pain attacked her body. She doubled over and gritted her teeth so hard, she felt the taste of blood fill her mouth.
"Don't you dare harm my parents!" A voice filled her head. Sara groaned. This damn host!
"Didn't you die?"
"I did! I left a sliver of consciousness behind because I don't trust you! And you proved me right! You wanted to break your promise!"
Sara rubbed her nose guiltily. She was indeed planning on that. "It was just a thought." She defended herself. "I haven't even carried it out yet. Why are you disturbing like the useless spirit that you are?"
"You...you...." The host spluttered.
"Alright, alright. When will you leave my body?"
"I can't. Not until you fulfill your promise." The host gloated.
"You should be thankful you are just a spirit." Sara thought darkly. In her mind, different ways of slicing the host had come up.
Another thought came to Sara's mind.
"My face! Did you wreck it?"
"Find out yourself." The Host's voice smug.
Sara felt like killing somebody. She eyed the bathroom and tried to move but her body was racked with pains even at the slightest movements. She was considering risking the pain just to check out her face when the door was pushed open and the Host's family walked in.
