In the other mid section of the dark forest, ice covered the entire area,beast ,trees ,plants and demonic humans were all frozen and amids all this 2 people were standing infront of a tall tree were the demonic humans were frozen to death
Looking at the tree Chhan asked Julia who was up close to the tree scanning it
" So this tree is a secret entrance? "{It's cold as hell here}

Grunter here is a demonic human who turned to the demons to escape the law after he killed his lover who cheated on him, and right now after 3 years of joining the organisation he rose through the ranks and got promoted to a level - 7 official at the organisation, he was currently 2nd in command of a squad that was assigned to protect the hideout at the dark forest's underground, and right now, he and his squad of 30 men, swordsman, mages and tanks
Grunter :" BACK ! BACK! DEFENSE FORMATION NOW !!! "
Were engaged in combat and were getting pushed back by the intruders, even though they setted an ambush,before they could even move in , a green knight flew past them at a speed so fast that they had no time to react and breached their formation
Grunter :" Vanguards, close in!! Mages prepare to fire spells on mark, Swordsmen kill him!!! "
" Huaaaa!!!! "
With that following his orders ,they attacked the green knight who held a black sword cloaked in aura ,the facilities hallway wasn't that big so the knight's flight wouldn't be very helpful so Grunter was planning to corner him where but

Grunter sensing the magic behind him turned back to the elevator entrance from where the knight flew in and then past them ,but even as he saw and realised he was too late to give any warning or command to his men as a wave of ice spreaded forth and impaled them all, freezing them before they could even scream
The entire hallway was frozen in an instant leaving only the green knight
Grunter on his last second of life had only one thought as he felt death's warm embrace

Julia breathed out as she stood up after using her spell and walked to the person who was now cladded in green armour with intricate golden runes and enchantments and asked with narrowed eyes

Chhan :" Stephen told me to borrow it, we should go now "

Julia :(closed her eyes resignation)" You're right ( with that they began to walk down the corridor ) Have you mapped your surroundings using aura wave? "
Chhan :" Yeah, should we take the shortest route? "

Chhan :(Raised his brows ){ No hesitation huh } " The facility might collapse with us in it you know "
Julia :" I'll pave the way ,just trust me and follow suit ,okay? (looked at Chhan with a confident smile) "

With that Julia ran and accelerated forward towards the hallway's end where they're was a steel wall with paths on the sides ,but she had no signs of changing direction at all ,instead she imbued a large amount of white aura on her sword ,Chhan ran just behind her ,and what followed up was aloud boom created by Julia's sword that destroyed the wall leaving an since circle , followed by Chhan they broke through wall after wall after wall ,and when the wall was thicker that the others , Julia's aura took on a drill like form with ice energy powering it up and leaving behind an ice tunnel on their trail , anything and anyone in their way towards the most powerful source of demonic energy in the facility was instantly killed or freezed to death
