A familiar face, the black haired beauty with blue eyes,the maid of prince Stephen,Carmen, she walked in my room a few minutes later after I woke up before Gwen even woke up
She was currently seated infront of Chhan on his bedside dressed in a black bodysuit ,she looked at him with eyes that his all intentions and emotions except that of distrust, Gwen was standing next to her on her left with a nervous expression,she was clearly uncomfortable, Sankeblade and Richard's presence could also be felt across the room, they tried to hide their mana and presence but failed in the face of Chhan's improved and heightened senses, they seemed to have fooled Carmen though but Chhan didn't tell her, he wanted them to listen to this anyway

Chhan's heart sank on her words but tried his best to calm himself ,he had to be calm about this afterall, as he couldn't afford to be completely honest here, it would sound like a flat lie afterall

Carmen's brows lifted a bit ,she racked her brain for a tribe called Mizo but she had never heard of it and she couldn't be completely doubt him as well, there were countless tribes in the world after all

Carmen :" You three will be brought to the investigation office to get interrogated , don't worry we won't detain for long if you answer our questions "
Richard :"...Okay the We'll comply ,but.."
Snakeblade:" What about this guy? "
Gwen :" Will big brother Saved get imprisoned ?"
Chhan "....{ Will I get dissected? Or turned into a slave , what's gonna happen to me ?I can probably escape now but ....(look at his three new friends) I can't I suppose} "(turned somber)

Inside a steel carrighe sat the 4 of us friends, if the still considered me a friend that is, with only me shackled on arms and legs using magic suppressor shackles, I could break them using them brute strength though, I was rather sure of that, the others remained quiet and still as we were taken to the castle so I did the same, I couldn't escape without them anyway
" Ginko, Richard, Snakeblade.... I'm sorry about all of this "
Richard:" You'd better be (sighs) and worry about yourself first , you probably won't be executed due to your contribution to killing that demon worshipper but punishment for lying to royalty won't be good, moreover...you aren't human right Saved? "

Richards :" (smiles) Naa Saved suits you better, beside didn't you say that it was your name but simply in another language? "

They all looked at their silent dark purple haired half elf friend who replied with a frown

Chhan :" Please care ,(lowered his head)I'm earnestly sorry for hiding it Snakeblade but I couldn't afford to let the prince find me again, I don't like being with royalty you know! "
Snakeblade then looked at Chhan and replied with a subtle change in her expression, a hint of bashfulness hidden under her dissatisfied expression, the others may not see that hidden shyness but Saved's perception could not miss it
" Why would you meet him again ,did you commit some kind of felony against him?? "
" ( I smiled ) I didn't so don't worry, I'll do something about myself so you guys simply tell the guys asking you questions whatever they want to hear get it? Do not lie to them? About the Demonic slime , Owlbear,anything, if they ask you about it reply honestly, I'll be fine {I'm an idiot} "
Ginko :"..(worried) You're trembling though big brother "
Richard :" Well if we're completely gonna be completely honest to the investigators then you might get dissected alive ,so it's normal to tremble "
Chhan :" Pleases don't joke like that {Honestly that isn't out of my expectations}"
Ginko got near Snakeblade and whispered to her with eyes full of fear and worry
" Do you think that would actually happen to Bring brother? "(was actually scared fir Chhan)
Snakeblade :" pfft "
{Did she just laugh at me ?....Well atleast doesn't seem as cold anymore (relieved) }
" hmm (suddenly senses them passing inside some kind of barrier) We're in guys get ready "
