In the middle of a forest at around 11 am after a morning monster extermination quest a group of 5 adventurers had a quarrel ,a tall girl with mid back length pink hair and Golden eyes in her mid teens who from her attire and weapon that was a right metal gauntlet was clearly a pugilist was having a quarrel with her party leader
The leader, Gira was a fallen noblewoman in her late 20s ,short black hair and green eyes, a swordswoman who looked very seductive as she looked down on the pink haired girl who was throwing a fit
The others there were a male tall tank in his 20s, an male half elf archer and a female magician
Gira looked at the pink haired girl's angry glare and scoffed
" Kid haven't you been making extra moneys all the time ,you are the front vanguard so you always take the most kill, give us some money as well, it's no big deal right? "
Gira then turned to her other companions who seemed to agree with her
Magician :" (anxiously asked) Sorry Gwen but can't you excuse us this time again ? I really need a new staff "
Tanker :" Yeah just this time again please, i really really want a new shield Gwen! "(Pleaded)
Half elven archer:" Geez what's the big deal anyway, it's not like we don't pay you back? "
Gira :" See the others agree too(smiles with satisfaction), so why don't you agree Gwen ,as I always say, ' Teammates should take care of eachother ' "
Gwen : " No "
Gira ,magician :" Huh? "
Gwen then glared at them all with resignation :" I'm tired of this, and Breesa (glared at the archer) ,when have you ever paid me back ? "
Archer :" Huh? ...l..last week? "
Gwen :" Hah! (Continued with scorn) So you think 40 copper makes up for 10 silver then ?! you and the rest of you all too, (clenched her fist) I quit being in your party!! "
(100copper coin = 1 silver)
With that she turned around and walked in the opposite direction of her now former party members
Tanker :" W..wait Gwen??(turned to Gira )Gira call her back! "
Gira took a step forward and shouted
" Hey you brat ! How dare you just Leave after all we've done for you !!{ I can't allow her to leave! She's our party's main attraction afterall!} If you're gonna leave them drop that adamantine gauntlet of yours!! "

Gwen abruptly stopped for a moment upon hearing Gira's words ,she then looked at her crimson right battle gauntlet, it was bought using the party's money for her and she was rather attached to it as well, she was rather reluctant to let it go

Gira :( felt thrilled)" What's wrong ?(scoffed) If you can't then we won't let you leave kid, that was bought so that you will help us ! Get i- "

Gira :" Ah!! "
Gira felt her life flash for a moment, the red gauntlet flew passed her head just barely not hitting her, Gwen upon hearing such hateful words from her former leader who she had still respected to a certain degree became enraged, before Gira could even finish she took the gauntlet off and threw it at her
The gauntlet flew passed her and went through a friggin tree
Tanker :" ah!! "
Breesa :" Y..you (trembling in fear) "
Magician :" G.. Gwen?? "

A powerful red firey mana cloaked the girl's body as an extreme 8th class magic pressure pressed the others down
Gira :" Geek!!(trembled from the pressure unable to release her own properly, shaken due to the lasting fear ) "
" Aagk!! "(Tanker)
Gwen :" Get out of my sight! "

Evening, Gwen who was now alone in the forest of the Raven mountains walked down it with her knuckle bloodied and messed up, many cuts ,bite and claw marks were visible on her skin from fighting monsters on her way down after she sperated from her old party , the injuries were particularly serious on her right arm
" This sucks! "
She felt depressed, it was a normal reaction though, her last party was her first party as an adventurer and parting ways like that wasn't what she desired at all but she didn't regret it ,they were assholes after all
" Whatever hmmh(raised her chin ignoring the pain on her right arm) {With my looks, talent and skills I can easily find another party anyway} I should switch towns,hmmm the capital is near if I remember correctly, no way I going back to Servus to see those guys again! ".
With that she tried to forget about what happened and her old party and walked west , towards the capital city
" Okay then , capital here i - "

Hearing the sound of a speeding object behind her she turned around and in an instant

,the tree on her right fell , somthing crashed through it breaking it down

Stepping back 6 steps behind she already took a fighting stance incase what came down was a monster or something

Contrary to her expectations what she saw in the dust clouds wasn't the silhouette of a monster but that of a human, a sword was on his hand it seemed

? :(groaned in pain and annoyance)" God that hurts! " (Swung his sword down)

And from one swing of his sword the dust clouds parted revealing the man's appearance
"{A..a mountain bandit? He looks rugged and ...hurt } "
Barely average face, black hair and eyes with ,his facial features belonged to an oriental atleast, and from his attire, shirtless wearing nothing but a pants that were damaged with wounds all over his face, he seemed like either a bandit or a criminal swordsman but
? :" Hmm?{pink hair? Wow !(admired her face)...I feel inferior} Miss you should flew from here ".
Gwen instantly replied ready to fight at anytime
" Why? You gonna attack me if I don't? Are you a mountain bandit?"
?: (frowned){Bandit? Uggh } (felt hurt but returned to the point and told her) I'm not a mountain bandit and also no, I won't attack you....(pointes towards the mountain with his left finger) ,but he will "
Gwen : " Who? {Does he think I'm gonna fall for his trucks and turn left? } "
ROAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!
she turned left

The bandit then replied after the deafening roar died down
" Some kind of bird bear hybrid, I don't know what's it called but ,an Owlbear I would guess? "
Gwen's heart sank in an instant

" O.. Owlbear? "
Looking up on the mountainous forest on her left she could already see trees falling as something approaching them bulldozed them over like twigs.
" We need to run Bandit! "

With that Gwen left running at high speed, as an adventurer who grew up in the boonies she knew well that an owlbear was a beast that mere 8th classed warriors like her had no business fighting against, she would get killed in a heartbeat after all
And Chhan looked at Gwen's back as she ran away and smiles
{She's kind it seems(had a subtle smile), but }
Kind enough to give him the advice to run
" But I should finish my prey, {I already wounded it ,it would be irresponsible to not finish it and -} - a mizo man never let's his prey escape ".

The Owlbear then came into views when it was about 200 meters away from Chhan, vicious, agreesive with nothing but evil frenzy in it's black eyes ,with the head and feathers of an owl and the body of black grizzly bear the size of a full tree ,it was a monstrosity out of a nightmare that could bulldoze through a forest in its rage, and a wide sword cut could be seen on its right side

Blue mana flared over Chhan's body enhancing it by 4 times ,the mana then cloaked his silver mythril sword's blade and filled it with power and magical sharpness

And with his boost of strength and attack power , with a sharp glare and killing intent polished by his magical pressure he dashed forward to meet with the vile beast with one thought in mind
