He taught us to live in harmony with nature, to weave cloth, to make papyrus and to write down records of our way of live", added Mitra.
"He taught us to understand the change of seasons and number the days, months, years", said Tleka.
"According to your system of numbering, what century is this?", captain Maguire asked testily.
"The twentieth forth century", promptly replied Mitra without hesitating.
"There is only way that is possible, only way that that we can be living in the same time zone with an Earth where dinosaurs still exist?", exclaimed captain Lucinda aside to captain Maguire.
"What's your theory captain?", asked captain Maguire.
"The astroid that is supposed to have struck the Earth and brought on the advent of the ice age and wiping out the dinosaurs, never struck. It's the only way that dinosaurs can still be living on this Earth in the twenty forth century", captain Lucinda reasoned.
"But we know from the history of our Earth that the astroid hit the Earth. How is it that on this Earth there was no astroid to bring on the ice age?", captain Maguire asked.
"It's not possible, unless something took the astroid out of the picture", reasoned captain Lucinda.
"I can only think of one thing with that sort of capability", replied captain Maguire thoughtfully.
"You are right", it must have been the Zwilink connector. It could have destroyed the astroid using the solar ray. It's mandate after all was to destroy astroids that pose a threat to Earth", agreed captain Lucinda.
"I still can't get over the reality of two Earth's that are completely different existing in the same time zone", remarked captain Maguire.
"It is the duality of reality", said Mitra. "It is what we call it when two separate realities exist in the same space", said Mitra rejoining the discussion.
"What does this paricle like look?", asked captain Maguire turning to Mitra.
"In his true form he is a huge silver orb, too bright to look at during the day with the naked eye. When he comes down from the sky he assumes a human form through which he interacts directly with us".
"It has a human personality?", captain Maguire quizzed facing captain Lucinda.
"It is as I suspected", confirmed captain Lucinda.
"It could only be the Zwilink connector using the solar ray".
"Just a probe, really?", captain Maguire "And now I learn that it has a human personality", challenged her with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.
"It is much more, than what you were told at the briefing with admiral. It does not have a computer, it is in fact a super computer".
"Among other aspects it can project a holographic human personality when interacting with less advanced cultures".
"How does that fit into the reality we see in this world?"
"It stands to reason that it somehow traveled back in time and destroyed the astroid before it could strike the Earth", announced captain Lucinda.
"Which created a parallel reality", reasoned captain Maguire.
"Yes it completely changed the evolutionary trajectory of this Earth. It made it possible for modern man to live alongside dinosaurs in our own century confirmed captain Lucinda. But to restore the balance and give humanity an upper over dinosaurs the Zwilink connector intervened directly teaching man how to take control in this new ecosystem", reasoned captain Lucinda.
"It is true", Mitra weighing into the conversation, The particle taught us many things".
"It taught a primitive people how to improve their lives, teaching them to develop the bare necessities that would allow them to lead more comfortable lives. It care took though to avoid burdening them with advanced science and technology which would have interfered with the natural course of their society's development".
"I could also not help noticing the warriors athleticism. If you noticed on the way here they did not even once stop to rest. They maintained the same energetic pace", commented captain Maguire.
"If you will recall captain when we came out of the shuttle, the amazing quality of the air", captain Lucinda reminded him. The atmosphere on this Earth is pure, it is completely free of pollutants emanating from industrialisation. People born into such an environment, eating purely organic food without any articial additives will be in an amazing state of health.
"Are you saying everything about this environment from the air they breath to the water they drink acts like a steroid for their bodies?"
"Yes it's true", added Mitra. "The food, the air, the water are pure, consuming them gives an amazing burst of energy. The particle told us that on your world, it isn't like that".
"The world we come from is totally different from this Earth, it is a complete", captain Maguire confirmed. "We made too many mistakes in our development. The particle got it right in this world, everything we got so wrong on our own world. He has gifted to you the people of this Earth an amazing fresh start to live longer, healthier lives.
"Even the climate here is perfect", observed captain Lucinda. I imagine the ozone layer on this Earth is still intact, meaning there is no global warming. The climate doesn't get too warm or too cold".
"You are right", confirmed Tleka.
"It means, we can freely interact on this world without fear of interfering or somehow influencing the development of this virgin world", said captain Lucinda. The Zwilink connector will always be around to accompany and protect this world as it embarks on its developmental trajectory.
"I take it this s a kind of a project in development. A representation of the hope of everything that the Earth could have been, everything our Earth failed to become", observed captain Maguire.
"The Zwilink connector has done much better than we even anticipated. Space command will be pleased to receive my report. This marks an exciting new chapter in the expansion of human civilisation", remarked captain Lucinda.
"This also means that the Zwilink connector has mapped entry and exit points in the Oblivion zone, allowing for rapid travel between galaxies, realms and dimensions", agreed captain Maguire
"If only we can get the information it has gathered on the Oblivion zone....", started captain Lucinda
"We can achieve the feat of shortening distances by literally folding space", captain Maguire realised.
