After circling inside her body for a few minutes, the black colored slimy substance arrived near the reproductive organ inside her body and entered her fertile egg. Slowly the black slimy substance infiltrated her fertile egg and changed it from the normal fertile egg color to black color as it underwent some unknown mutation.
Meanwhile, the woman worked as she does daily without knowing her body was inhabited by an unknown being for some reason. Her husband returned from his heavy work of farming and looked at his wife with a content smile. Their love for each other was the only thing that made them look forward to another day in this world.
Her husband Rock came in and put the hoe and dirty cloth he carried in the corner of the mud house, then he looked at his wife Emma tenderly and said in a nasal voice due to the cold, "Emma, stop working, come on, let's eat."
Emma's scrunched face eased a bit upon hearing her husband's caring tone. She showed a smile on her face and served Rock and herself a plate of rice with roasted vegetables that was sprinkled with a small amount of salt and spices.
Both of them ate the food in silence and spoke occasionally to one another. After finishing the dinner both of them had fulfilled their sexual desire and slept peacefully.

Ten months later.
Emma looked at her husband, who was going to his farmland, with reluctance. She wants her husband to be with her during her pregnancy but Rock has gone to work to provide food and a roof over her head.
Rock also turned around and smiled at his wife reassuringly and walked on the well-maintained mud road with a slight rainwater and wastewater path on the side of the mud road with fruit trees here and there to provide shade and food in times of need.
After walking straight on the road from his home he reached the outer area of the village with fewer to no houses but was filled with rice crops all over the farmland. Then he proceeded to pump water from the well with a crudely made wooden water pump into the water pathway.
Within an hour, he finished the water work and began to look around the land where he was responsible for any type of bug infestation and wild animal presence. It was very tedious work but he completed his task successfully in a few hours.
Because of the large area of farmland that he's responsible for, It took a long time. Unlike how water could be spread from one place, he has to move around and look minutely to find pest infestation in the farm field.
He doesn't have much free time with such a workload. He did his work as usual without anything unusual happening. Time passed pretty quickly and evening came as he finished maintaining waterways and pumping water from the well.
Just as he cleans himself and walks out of the farmland, he spots his neighbor's only son running towards him carelessly to the extent of falling to the ground.
Just as he was about to scold him, the boy spoke to him hastily, "Uncle Rock, Aunty Emma is giving birth.."
Without waiting for the kid to finish his sentence, Rock ran towards his house in a hurry. The kid also ran along with rock, but the soon-to-be father left the neighbor's kid without any care.
A few minutes later, Rob reached his house and tried to enter. But the neighbors around him stopped him from doing so as that would distract the midwife and Emma.
Rock also came back to his senses and stopped outside the house with a visibly worried look on his face. Seeing his predicament, his neighbors and his relation around him spoke joyfully to lighten up the situation.
"Look.. Look.. this stone man also knows how to react."
"Haha"
The neighborhood became gleeful in a few minutes and Rock waited with a tense expression. His wait ended in a few moments with the loud cries of newborn babies.
Everyone showed a surprised look on their faces, as they all heard the cries of two babies. Rock's face showed unbelievable happiness and worried expression at the same time.
This means it was a precarious pregnancy and would have had a very complicated birth process and the mother has chances of fatality. Rock and everyone looked at the wooden door silently.
The wooden door opened with an ear-piercing sound and an old woman who was very experienced in dealing with pregnancy in the village stepped out with a kind smile on her wrinkled face and said "Rock, Emma gave birth to two baby boys and was very tired. So don't disturb her too much for a few days."
Rock nodded absentmindedly to the old woman's nagging. Seeing this the old woman Katy just shook her head and waved her hands at him signaling that he could enter the house.
Rock thanked old woman Katy and entered the house and looked at his tired wife on a straw mat and two babies on a bundle of clothes on the well-cleaned mud floor and then he asked his wife with concern "Emma, are you ok."
Emma showed a reassuring smile and showed her two babies to him with a worried expression on her face "Rock, I think our children are looking very different from other children. Do you think there's something wrong with them?"
Rock was stunned upon hearing this and looked at the two kids carefully after removing the clothes that were covering their bodies.
He looked at the two babies who were covered with black scales from head to toe, a small amount of black hair was growing out of the baby's heads and both baby's eyes were crimson red vertical snake-like pupils.
Rock realized that his children's lives and future won't be ordinary or easy.
Even though most of the people knew something about mutant humans, there are still a small number of mutants present in the village. They all had a small number of unnoticeable mutations, unlike his children.
But his childrens mutation was out of proportion compared to the other mutated peoples they had seen around them. So he worried about their future.
With a sigh, Rock hugged his children one by one and kissed them on their forehead. While kissing he found that one of his children even had small bumpy horns on his head.
While Rock and Emma are chatting and adapting to their new life. John also woke up from his long slumber and looked at the mudhouse, straw mat, and bundles of clothes he was in with a thinking expression.
Then he looked at another child beside him with a bewildered expression on his face and called out the data panel to check his current situation.

Upon seeing the expected or impressive new talent on the data panel. John showed a happy smile on his face.
Both Emma and Rock also saw his smile and Emma said with a motherly love "Look the child was smiling happily. Why should we be sad? We should face whatever comes with confidence to protect our children."
Rock regained his confidence laughed with Emma and said softly "Yes."
The other child smiled slightly hearing laughing noises without even knowing why. Rock looked at all of this speechlessly and closed his eyes in desperation thinking of the upcoming annoying, uncomfortable days.

One year later.
In a house in the Blackwood village, a black-scaled child with a bundle of messy black hair wearing only underwear looked at another child who also looked the same as him but with slight differences such as neat long hair and small cute horns on his head with a puzzled look.
John was sitting outside the house and was looking at the blue sky with a concentrated look on his face ignoring his playful twin brother.
John looked at his twin brother who was looking at him with a speechless expression and then returned to his routine as he called out the data panel.

Infinite adaptation evolved from the adaptive ability of the human race to adapt to most of the environment. With this talent, he could adapt to any environmental stresses given enough time and energy even though Rock was happy with this new talent.
John was a little speechless at his current ability to gather energy which was very pitiful compared to when he was a snake and the energy was separated from talent and became a separate column and now he could put the energy in desired talent and activate the talent once.
If he put it in endless growth now he could grow from infancy to teenage in a short period. But that would scare the shit out of his parents. So he was in a dilemma without knowing what to do in his current scenario.
