Synopsis
I originally thought that person was just a pool of mosquito blood, but the sting and pain have already turned into a cinnabar red in my heart. When Fu Yucheng was in graduate school, he heard from his senior brother that anyone who could become the son-in-law of his mentor Professor Liang would save at least twenty years of hard work. Fu Yucheng was lucky enough to achieve this goal, but on his wedding day, he heard people comment: This is not a happy marriage. The daughter of the Liang family is good at everything, but life-long matters have long been a problem...

Chapter 1 - Chapter1

Fu Yucheng heard that he was getting divorced.

This strange thing happened this afternoon. When he was about to get off work, Fu Yucheng received a call. The person calling was his colleague and undergraduate classmate, Shao Lei from Pengcheng Law Firm. Their industry is considered big or small. The wind blows here and the grass moves there. No secrets can be kept secret.

Shao Lei said mysteriously: "Old Master, I received an unexpected guest today, guess who it is?"

Fu Yucheng opened the blinds of his office and lit a cigarette. The sunset outside the window seemed to burn through the clouds. "Speak directly, don't pretend to be a ghost."

"Your wife, come here and ask me to draw up a divorce agreement. Master, I bet you don't know about this."

Fu Yucheng paused with his fingers, and the cigarette ashes he dusted off still contained sparks, leaving a scorch mark on the hem of his shirt, "You know again?"

"Your father -in-law has a lot of talents all over the world. Your wife didn't ask your colleagues to draw up this contract. Instead, she came all the way from the west of the city to the east of the city to find me. Why do you think that's the reason?"

Why else, just hide it from him.

Fu Yucheng chewed his cigarette and looked at the photo frame standing on his desk. In it, Liang Fu smiled harmlessly.

"Old Fu, are you two having a conflict? As a woman, just give in and coax her off."

Fu Yucheng was noncommittal, "What request did she make?"

Shao Lei paused, "...You may not believe it when I tell you. She didn't ask for anything. The RV is all yours, and she left the house."

For the first time, Fu Yucheng didn't work overtime and went home on time.

His and Liang Fu's wedding room was in the west of the city, quite far away from Liang Fu's parents' home. A high-rise building in a mid-range community, 120 square meters. When she got married, Liang Fu's parents thought the location was not good and wanted to give the young couple a villa, but Liang Fu refused and insisted that it was a good place.

After three years of marriage, Liang Fu did not act like a spoiled child at all, and fulfilled her duties as a wife conscientiously. There is food in the pot and people on the bed. Putting aside love, Fu Yucheng feels that his married life is quite comfortable.

Fu Yucheng took the key and opened the door. The lights were burning in the living room and kitchen, and he was at home, as usual.

Liang Fu seemed to hear the noise and stuck her head out from the kitchen to say hello to him, her tone as usual.

"You go take a shower and change clothes. Dinner will be ready in a while." Liang Fu lowered her head and went to the kitchen, where the sound of soup was being made. There is a handful of lisianthus in a transparent vase on the dining table, with water drops on the petals. She likes to put in these little touches, and there are traces of careful care everywhere in her home.

Fu Yucheng had taken a bath and the food had been laid out. A large table of dishes, including meat and vegetables, shrimp and fish, is beyond the ordinary sumptuousness.

It's like eating without one's head.

Liang Fu held her chopsticks and sat down opposite him. She was wearing a light gray housecoat with a ponytail, and was a standard-fitting wife and mother.

This look that I was used to seeing was inexplicably disturbing at this moment. Glancing at her face, she looked calm. When is she going to mention divorce? I still plan to investigate it secretly for a while before making a decision.

Fu Yucheng held her trump card in his hand and was very calm.

The two of them carried chopsticks and ate as usual. Liang Fu told him about the dance troupe, and how a young girl fell in love behind the troupe's back.

He didn't listen carefully and said "Hmm" carelessly. Then he felt the air was quiet for a moment. Opposite him, Liang Fu bit the tip of her chopsticks and softly said "Ugh". She lowered her head slightly, her eyelashes creating a row of blue-grey shadows under her eyes.

Fu Yucheng was sure that he would not have noticed it in the past, but because he knew that Liang Fu was planning to divorce, this "Alas" seemed very harsh.

But she said "Oh" without saying anything. She just stopped talking about the dance group and lowered her head to eat the food carefully.

This "decapitated meal" was eaten in silence, without much use of chopsticks, and almost all the dishes on the table were left. Liang Fu poured out the leftovers, threw the dishes into the dishwasher, and went to the balcony.

Fu Yucheng answered the phone and found it strange that no one came back. When he opened the balcony door, he saw her leaning on the armrest with a cigarette between her fingertips. Seeing him coming, she smiled, took a slow breath, and blew out a shapeless smoke ring at him.

She used to smoke, but quit after getting married.

"Fu Yucheng, let me tell you something."

It was already dark in Chongcheng, and the night wind was filled with dim lights, which shone in her eyes, flickering on and off, shattering her usual indifferent silence, revealing a bit of vitality and stubbornness. At this glance, he suddenly saw what she looked like three years ago.

Fu Yucheng already had a premonition in his heart, "I know Shao Lei, my undergraduate classmate."

Liang Fu's expression froze.

At this moment, Fu Yucheng felt that he might be a little cruel. She must have wanted to perform a neat ending, but he improvised and snatched the most colorful part.

Fu Yucheng walked over, put his palm on her waist, and pinched her with some force. The fingers of the other hand pinched the unburned part of the cigarette, took it and took a puff, then breathed it into her nose, "I am the best lawyer in Chongcheng. If you don't come to me, come to Shao Lei, what do you mean?"

Liang Fu choked, stared at him dissatisfied, coughed twice, "You already know this, and you're still pretending to me?"

"It depends on what tricks you want to play." He pinched his waist and looked down at her. His fair and clear face looked particularly innocent without makeup. "Tell me, what did I do wrong?"

"Do you want to change it?"

Fu Yucheng smiled and said, "Change it."

"That won't work. It won't be interesting if you change it."

Fu Yucheng raised his eyebrows, "Am I not good enough to you?"

She tilted her head, as if she was thinking seriously, "...it's okay."

"Then why divorce?"

Liang Fu looked at him and gradually smiled. Her eyebrows were crooked, but her words were firm, "That's it. I can't be a bitch all the time, right?"
