After returning to Night Palace, Ming Ge discussed her thoughts with Ya Zhi.
"You want to audition for the role of the second female lead, Zhu Sha?" Ya Zhi, upon hearing her words, showed no great variation in her voice, merely asking symbolically.
Ming Ge nodded, "Yes."
Ya Zhi spoke in a calm and languid tone, "Have you considered this thoroughly? The character Zhu Sha in 'Emperor's Map' is known as the Female Asura; compared to the Female Zhuge Bai Zhouyue, she's less likable."
Ya Zhi's original plan was to have Ming Ge vie for the role of the leading lady, Bai Zhouyue.
Although Ming Ge's fame and status in the industry weren't top-notch, it was only after the popularity of the reality show 'The Idol has Arrived' that she got close to being a third-tier celebrity; ordinarily, she wouldn't stand a chance of being cast as the leading lady in any major production.
But 'Imperial Map's' director Jian Sheng was famously fond of casting newcomers.
