Ming Ge was nearly sunk into the sofa, her posture lazy yet not impolite, her knees supporting a brick-thick tome. She slightly lowered her head, her fingertips resting on the faint yellow edge of the page, ready to turn it at any moment.
Perhaps because her long hair tended to fall and obstruct her view, one side of her fluffy curly hair was tucked behind her ear, revealing the pale skin of her ear amidst the black, along with the slender neck of her red off-the-shoulder dress, her delicate collarbones, and her fair shoulders.
The floor-to-ceiling windows let in the extremely bright and pleasant warm golden light typical of summer, but the room maintained a constant temperature of 25°C year-round, creating a stark contrast between the cool interior and the warmth outside.
From a visual and compositional standpoint, it created a sense of "time standing still, and beauty like a painting."
