Besides choosing my skills, I also need to choose my own elemental affinity, which will determine what kind of magic I can use.
Within that universe, all High-Beings that are born will be able to use mana with at least one elemental affinities usually, but on some rare occasions, a person could born with two or more affinities which at most times will comes with their own advantages and disadvantages. Basically, there are four basic elemental affinities: earth, fire, wind and water. These were joined by rarer elemental affinities: light and dark. People with two or more elemental affinity tends to have sub-classes of the elemetal affinity they posses, such as the wielder of water and wind affinity is able to use ice elemental.
The elemental affinity I went with was Total Affinity.
Total affinity means that the user is able to use all type of elemental affinities. However it was without a major disadvantages. As a trade-off for being able all kinds of magic, the improvement rate for each of them are halves. Not only that, this will also them twice harder for most people to control while the mana consumption rate is also twice higher than others.
But I have the skills to counter this disadvantages.
"If the mana consumption and control is twice harder than others, then I'll just need to train twice as harder than a normal person do. This should not be a problem for me since I have the skill Rapid Recovery." I thought to myself.
"Not only that, with an infinite amount of possiblities by combining those seven main elemental infinity, I bet I can make some powerful spells, using my knowledge and my skill Spell Creator."
After I have finish deciding the advantages of being able to use all elements outweighed the disadvantages of the higher mana consumption and harder mana-control. I stay on my decision to have total affinity.
Looking at the hourglass, there is still some time, so I decided not to call the God of Creation yet and continue looking at my choices and looking back at the skills to see if there was any better combo than I have choose.
