Chapter 47 - Monk Warewolf 2

I infused my spear with light element and charged at the monk Warewolf together with the other seven.

Swish...

The monk disappeared when our attacks were just about to reach and he appeared at my back with his scythe aiming for my neck. Lucky enough I was falling due to lack of balance from my spear not connecting.

The burning blood scythe scrached the back of my neck, leaving some blood dripping from it. The others didn't stop and charged at the Warewolf again.

Clang...

It was the sound of Ater's rapier meeting with the blood scythe echoed in the shrine. I used this chance to secretly drink a golden healing potion to heal my burning neck.

After I felt no more blood coming from the scrach behind my neck I joined Ater and the Knoxs to attack the monk Warewolf.

Clang..clang...clang

Ater's black rapier and my golden spear clashed with the blood scythe sending sparks over the battlefield. Knox and his clones would send a barrage of punches at the monk which would be blocked easily with one hand.

We continued to dance around the shrine, breaking parts of it. The sound of our clashes could be heard from the summit of the shrine.

Knox started covering his body with Nether as a brownish light stated to cover his body. Now the battle stated to turn into an equall footing.

The Warewolf couldn't let this go on as it released a burst of hot red light that pushed us back. We were all sent flying a few metres back falling to the ground.

The monk Warewolf didn't waste time as it took three [Moon Gold] stones and ate them. The Warewolf's body became more muscular and red fur stated growing from his body, the scythe grew in sized and now had reached two meters tall.

Now he looked more like a Warewolf than before. I could see Ater's face turned pale like he had woken up from a nightmare, but now the nightmare was just beginning .

Ater grew White wings from his back and I did my half vampire transformation. I had been saving this for when the Warewolf got a power boost.

The monk Warewolf didn't waste a chance and charged and swing its scythe directed at my neck.

Clang....

I was able to block in the nick of time as I had moved my blood spear towards the incoming scythe. I could feel a shockwave vibrate in my bones, but I didn't give in as I applied more force on my spear.

Grrrrr....

I could hear the Warewolf groaning and I looked into its eyes and saw that there were now blood red.

boom...boom...

Ater shoot two explosion bullets on where the Warewolf was standing. The monk lost his balance and I used this chance to send a wide swing towards its left arm.

Clang...

The Warewolf was able to block my attack with its scythe. Knox and his clones jumped in with a barrage of punches that the monk could only tank.

Grrrrr...

The monk groaned as it got back to its feet. Before Knox and his clones could step back, the Warewolf had pushed me back and cut one of the Clones in half.

Swish...

Three black arrows came from the sky directed at the Warewolf's head. The monk Warewolf used its left hand to break the the three arrows. I knew I can't waste this chance Ater made and charged at the Warewolf.

I made a horizontal slash aiming at the dazzed monk's head. My attack missed as the Warewolf had regained his composure. The Warewolf dodged quickly and kicked me sending me spinning to the side.

Grrrr..

The monk groaned as it stared at the flying Ater, it leaped into the sky breaking off pieces of the ground. It raised its scythe in an attempt to cut off Ater.

It missed by an inch as it flew over to the ground, during this time I was drinking my fifth healing potion. As soon as the monk landed on the ground, Knox and his clones came charging at it.

When the monk Warewolf tried to swing his scythe to cut of the Knoxs, explosion bullets started coming directed at the scythe.

The scythe couldn't withstand the bullets as it turned back into blood and fell on the ground. Before the monk could make another scythe, Knox and his clones were throwing punches directed to its face.

The hot red light was released again and shoot out the Knoxs. I couldn't let it form another scythe as I charged at the Warewolf.

Clang...

The monk Warewolf used its claws to block my blood spear and the same routine continued until the four Knox joined in.

We danced around the shrine as we clashed at each other and this time we were the ones pressuring The monk Warewolf. Most of the time the Warewolf would focus on blocking my attacks, letting the Knoxs attacks connect.

Grrrr....

The Warewolf could only groan in pain and I knew it had been like this ever since it ate the [Moon Gold]. It took in too much of the [Moon Gold] and ended up losing its mind. Even the stage 0 Warewolf can only take in two [Moon Gold] stones not three like a certain fool.

There was a slight miss stepping in the monks footwook and I didn't miss the chance to send my blood spear in a horizontal attack that took off its arm.

Slash...

The Warewolf's blood rained on the ground from its missing right arm. I didn't stop as I stand a barrage of fast thrust towards the Warewolf. Knox and his clones also joined with their punches.

The Warewolf was even losing more of its cool as it let more attacks hit its body. My attacks were mosty focused on the missing right arm as I couldn't let it regenerate. Knox and the clones attacks were focused towards its head. Ater would shot bullets that would make the monk leave opennings for us.

We repeat the some pattern and the malevolence it the Warewolf's eyes continued to grow with each clash. The walls and stone pillars on the summit of of shrine were no longer seen as they had been destroyed through out the battle.

The monk's once clean yellow robe had now been a thing of the past as it was now rages and the same could be said about me and the Knoxs clothes.

The Warewolf still kept on giving us a hard time dispite missing an arm and being out numbered. Ater shot out a black bullet that went threw the Warewolf's skin.

I directed my spear towards that bullet hole in its left shoulder muscle but was blocked as a the red hot light came again and I was pushed back. I could few the the handle of my spear boiling, meaning I couldn't properly hold it.

I turned my arms into tree branches and hold the blood spear making five good replicas that took away 7/10 of my remaining mana.

I used [Lighting spear strikes Art] on the replica spears coasting 9/10 of my remaining Aura and shoot them towards the monk Warewolf.

The spear charged at the Warewolf at the same time aiming for its vital points. The Warewolf showed up a crazy agility as it narrowly dodged every one of my five arrows.

I was left shocked as that was my strongest attack so far. I can't use [Fourth Cloning] as it would take time to make the clones and because I am low on mana.

Knox and his three clones charged at the monk Warewolf. The Warewolf just dodged their attacks and was able to kill one clone leaving only two clones. After the clone died I was forced to use my not perfect Netheir to attack the monk.

I made a small red spear with my blood and let Nether move throw it. I aimed at the half healed right hand of the Warewolf.

The boiling red light come before I could reach the Warewolf and it pushed me back. I could feel the small spear I made melt as it turned it liquid. I knew I shouldn't have tried such a useless attempt.

"Everybody step back!"

Ater's voice echoed through the night sky. When my eyes towards Ater I saw a large number of white feathers falling to the ground slowly.

I knew what that signalled and runned as fast as I could from the range of the feathers. Knox and his two clones could only follow me as I ran.

"What is he trying to do ?"

"Starting a fireworks party,"

knox and his clones could only stare at me with disbelief, as I stopped running and turn back. I could see the feathers surrounding The Warewolf monk.

boooom...booom..

A loud explosions ware heard from the direction of the Warewolf. The explosions continued for ten minutes and we had to wait for 2 minutes for the smoke to clear.

We could see a smoked corpse lay on the ground and when I stared at Ater who was flying in the sky inbetween the waxing crescent moon.

Ater landed near the dead Warewolf and took out his rapier from his breast pocket. He cut of the monk Warewolf's head and his face continied to frawn like he had lost something.
