Christine and Ingrid walked through the palace corridors, the hushed whispers of servants echoing around them. Christine, concerned for Ingrid, couldn't help but voice her worries.
"Are you okay, Princess?" she inquired, her brow furrowed with worry.
Ingrid reassured her with a smile, "I'm okay, Christine. Just a bit hungry, that's all."
Christine, however, couldn't shake off the unease. "I could hear the tutor's voice from outside the entire time. She seemed excessively strict. Is everything really okay?"
Ingrid chuckled, dismissing any concerns. "Madam Dupont is just thorough in her teachings. It's nothing to worry about."
Christine nodded, but deep inside, she was troubled. As they walked through the corridor, Christine couldn't ignore the hushed whispers of the passing servants. Some of them had smirks on their faces, and Christine overheard their murmurs.
