Ingrid's lips curved into a gentle smile as her gaze rested upon Isabella. "I once heard my mentor describe a friend who asked questions as if she already knew everyone's secrets, even when she didn't. Could that friend be you, Priestess?" she inquired.
Isabella paused, blinking for a moment, before breaking into a hearty laugh. "Well, it seems my strategy didn't work this time. It usually does," she confessed, wiping a tear from her eye while still chuckling.
Amidst her amusement, Isabella sighed. "Your mentor, Princess Katarina, was quite perceptive, and yes, she might have been referring to me," Isabella admitted, her eyes twinkling with a mischievous glint. "It seems my attempts to gracefully probe into the hearts of others are not as subtle as I thought."
Ingrid chuckled in response. "She had a way of unraveling mysteries with just a few well-chosen words. I'm still far from reaching her expertise," she said.
