Ingrid glanced at Caym as they walked side by side along the cobblestone pathway, her arm still wrapped around his. The cool breeze whispered through the air as they strolled together.
Caym glanced over his shoulder towards Christine and gestured for her to move ahead first. With a nod of understanding, Christine obliged, giving them a moment of privacy.
Ingrid glanced at Christine before looking up at Caym, her soft blue eyes meeting his with a calm serenity like the clear sky above. A small smile graced her lips as she felt the warmth of his presence beside her.
"What is it?" Ingrid inquired.
Caym returned her smile and reached out to adjust the folds of her white cloak, his touch gentle and reassuring. As he finished, he lowered his hands, his gaze never leaving hers.
"My beautiful lady, I wish to court you," he confessed.
