Rose's brows were furrowed in a display of defiance, her gaze sharp and penetrating as it met Ingrid's own.
"So what are you doing here? Do you think I'll tell you something?" Rose asked mockingly, her tone dripping with sarcasm. She took a deliberate step closer, her movements calculated as she approached the iron bars that separated them. With both hands, she gripped the cold metal, her face pressed between the bars as she spoke.
"Let me tell you," she continued, her voice low and menacing. "You should stop playing hero. Do you think you are safe from because you're a foreign princess? You should have just stayed away."
