Trigger Warning: Violence.
As Yanessa stood before the God of Dreams, a defiant glint flickered in her eyes. She crossed her arms tightly against her chest as she maintained her unwavering gaze ahead. Her nails dug into her skin, leaving faint marks.
"I was given the ability. I should use it," she asserted, her voice steady and resolute despite the weight of the other god's disapproval.
The God of Dreams exhaled heavily, his frustration evident as he slightly tilted his head. "You are treading dangerous ground, Yanessa," he cautioned, his tone stern. "Interfering with the domain of the Goddesses of Fate is not a decision to be made lightly."
Yanessa remained unmoved, her expression impassive as she met the god's gaze head-on. "I know that more than anyone," she replied curtly, her voice tinged with defiance. "It took me millennia to gather this courage, after all. Maybe if I had been braver, this ordeal would have concluded sooner."
