Ingrid's brows continued to furrow as she grappled with the revelation. "I believe I might be insane," she thought, a sense of disbelief echoing in her mind.

The voice, gentle yet steadfast, responded, "You are not insane, Princess Ingrid. I am indeed a Goddess."

Ingrid couldn't help but find irony in the situation. "How amusing. Why would a deity converse with a mere mortal like me? I must talk to Dr. Sabine about this," she pondered.

The voice persisted, "It is not a jest. I have been guiding and watching over you throughout your entire life. The visions you have seen, the whispers you have heard—they were all from me."

"Even more amusing," she pondered, a bitter amusement tinting her inner thoughts. "How can someone with a deity watching over her endure so much suffering in life? I would have believed it easier if a ghost was speaking to me."
