Chapter 25 - Chapter 25

Suou woke up the next morning, washed up, and got dressed. He got quite the scare the moment he stepped foot outside his bedroom. He nearly had a heart attack when facing Yu Ru who was walking passed his room with dark eyelids.

"Why do you look like that?" Suou asked.

He made the connection once Yu Ru made his way over to the viewing screens. Judging by the amounts of piling food trash and cans of coffee, it was clear that he hadn't got a lick of sleep.

"Don't tell me..." Suou was dumbfounded as he noticed a list on the table among the trash.

It was a list of a thousand clients who have signed contracts. Five hundred, the ones done last night, had already seen the portal. While the other five hundred only needed to see the portal for them to be officially known as player clients.

Shi Fang came into the apartment at that moment. He was carrying grocery bags in each hand. "Boss, you're awake. I see you've noticed." Shi Fang says noticing his expression.

Looks like the quota he set was met while he was sleeping.

Yu Ru beckoned him over to join him. All he can do is finish up the recruitment of the remaining five hundred clients. And since its earlier than it was yesterday, that meant he should be able to finish the next one thousand quota today.

They got done to work. And this time they invited the graphic web designer. Yu Ru wrote that she should arrive some time today, which meant they'll be spending at least an hour making the website for the organization.

Two hours of recruitment later, the web designer showed up with a power point and sketches for the web design. Because she couldn't let out what they were doing, she had to sign a confidential contract that kept her from spilling anything once she leaves the premises of this apartment.

Even the faces she have seen today will become just a fleeting memory. It may seem like she imagined the entire encounter. It may be too much, but he wanted to be careful. He would admit that she was better than he expected, though.

Because of her preparation before coming here, the design for the organization only took about half an hour. They were up and running faster than he thought. By tomorrow, they should hopefully have around two hundred or less applicants to interview.

Once the designer left, they began the recruitment once again. To start with, they began with families like last time. This time they wanted to get more than fifty with the requirement of six people instead of eight.

Yu Ru had his focus on the Asian community since they recruited a lot of out of state clients. They're focus was Japan, China, Thailand, and South Korea.

With the families, they went through a lot of profiles and managed to contract a hundred families within two hours. Most were couples with one or two children homes. Making it a four person family. Only about thirty were a family of six people.

He decided that after recruiting families, he'll recruit patients from the psychological health center all over the world next. Shi Fang had some say about this sense most of these patients don't have the brain cells to think for themselves.

"I know, which is why I'll be recruiting the entire hospital." Suou says.

It was only because he understood that most staff don't like dealing with the crazy. But if he did it like this who knows what can happen in a world filled with opportunities even for those who are mentally ill could be cured in a world like Planet Generation.

With that he brought in four lucky mental health hospitals into the recruitment process. Only because each hospital had a staff of at least twenty employees and forty in patients. That's sixty people from four mental hospitals. Making it a total of two hundred and forty player clients from the mental hospitals.

After adding the families, the number was now at 340 player clients. He later moved on to the gangs and small organizations. He wanted some to already be existent in Planet Generation, even if what they first believed would be changed entirely. He wanted to see how many were willing to leave Earth behind.

To his surprise they managed to reach a little over six hundred after recruiting full gangs and small organizations. He didn't base it off of the number of people in the groups, but by the number of gangs and organizations.

That meant three hundred or more gangs and organizations had signed the contract for each member. It's like this since no one in these types of places had attachments to begin with. Suou only had to recruit another two hundred or more player clients now.

In this last group, he'll focus on single individuals in the elderly communication. The reason he thought of it like this was because most elderly are bound to be tired of their lives. It's more than anyone could count, he's certain of it.

With the elderly, he didn't care who or what they are like, as long as they have the requirements to recruit them, then he will. The began with elderly homes but this time he didn't plan to take the entirety of these homes. Most elderly in these places have attachments to family or Earth in general.

He's looking at those who were sent to the homes because of selfishness or not having anyone to care for them. He didn't find many, but he expected it. Next, they searched for retirees among the elderly. This one might be a more lucky area.

Most retirees are looking to have fun before they croak. Which means they got rid of attachments or they just plain tired of life in general. He should start searching among those who basically gave up on life and are living alone.

He found fifty. Unlike the twenty he found in homes, it was thirty number difference. In the end, they managed to find the rest of the individuals among the homeless and prostitution. Its not surprising at all.

"These are some interesting clients the boss had found." Shi Fang says leaning back.

Yu Ru nodded in agreement. Out of two thousand people, almost about a fourth of them had criminal backgrounds. They would say about six hundred were well rounded individuals who might make a difference in Planet Generation.

"You're forgetting about the others I recruited before all this." Suou points out.

The twenty he had recruited were very decent people. Still, it's hard to see what he's planning getting such people involved in the beta test.

"There's not much to worry about. I'm sure after having talked to the organization they had made some changes to deal with players who have just entered the game. It's not only a test for the player clients after all." Suou says.

He only touched on the basics of Planet Genesis. Now, it was going to be up to the new team to make fixes, upgrades, and more as time goes by. Like the restriction and acts of crime toward players who appear in towns. It's different for those who spawn outside the towns though.

It'll be a shame if the test don't go well and he wasted the lives of seven thousand people.

"I guess he knows what he's doing." Shi Fang says with a shake of his head.

The only thing they could do was watch it all happen. They knew that if they wanted out they'd forget everything that happened here, and that's something Shi Fang didn't want. Even if the things he has seen so far seemed immoral, but he understood that it was the choice of these player clients.

He couldn't demean how they wanted to change their lives. Even if it was the cost of the very life they were trying to change. Besides, it's not completely unrealistic. A perfect life was impossible anywhere, at least these people had a chance in a different way.

It was up to them how they use it and survive in a world where the laws aren't the same on Earth.

"So, tomorrow we'll be going by job applicants this time. I'm a little interested how many we will get in just a day." Shi Fang says to change the subject.

Suou also couldn't wait to see how quickly people get drawn to the newly made website. It sure did make it even more likely to hire player clients more efficiently than before. The site was a contract on its on, with a simple click of a button, thanks to Yu Ru. The portals will be sent to all accepted clientele.

"I feel it was quite hard to do, but I think if not for the boss, Yu Ru would not have been able to do it like this." Shi Fang points out.

"Alright, alright. We finished earlier than we thought. Let's finish up in a month. The day of the beta test should fall on the 2nd of June." Suou says.
