You know that feeling, when you thought you were in love and that you know what love is, but suddenly something happens and you realise that you had it all wrong?
When you finally feel what love is, and you know that it has nothing to do with what you thought it could be, it's incredibly beautiful.
Love is finding a person who will make you feel at home, who will be able to get all of your stress out with a single hug or word.
Well, I thought I found it with Elijah, maybe I do love him.
But what I fell for Rick was on another level.
Maybe all of this was meant to be, just so I know exactly what I wanted.
As we stood there, in each other arms, it was like the whole world stopped for a while. It was only him and I.
And without thinking, I opened my mouth and said:" I missed you, I really missed you. Never knew that it could be so much."
He didn't reply, but I noticed a smirk on his face, as he fiddled my hair.
Then he took a step back, breaking our hug, he grabbed my face and was looking straight in my eyes.
I saw the shine of his eyes, the same one I used to see when we were little. I took a moment to admire his perfect face, I was mesmerised by how handsome he had become!
After all this years, he managed to make me feel the same way.
And then my heart skipped a beat when he asked me: "Do you love him?"
I didn't have the answer to this question, maybe I love Elijah, maybe not in this way.. I was totally confused.
I tried to turn away and leave, but Rick didn't let me ans said:" Answer me, please."
With a trembling voice I said:" Yes I do, or maybe. I don't know anymore. I thought that he was the one for me, but then I saw you after all this years and now I just don't know what I feel anymore! I'm confused right now and it's all because of you."
That little smirk appeared again on his face, I saw the satisfaction and the relief with his facial expressions. Like he was waiting for me to say something like that.
" I missed you too. And after all this years, you make me feel the same as well. No one will ever make you feel as I do, do you understand what I'm saying?"
I shook my head as a response to his question, and the I grabbed his neck and embraced him.
At that moment I remembered Elijah, and I couldn't think of the idea of leaving him here. He was dead because of me, so I told Rick that we need to go to uncle Duncan and save Elijah.
Suddenly his face darkened, and he crossed his eyebrows as he asked me with a cold temper:" And then? What will happen after we save him? You are going with him to the upper world right?"
" I won't go with him, I will talk to him and explain everything. Elijah has always been so comprehensive, he will understand, I hope that he will understand!"...
