When Peter Brown came out of the bedroom, he was somewhat surprised to find that quite a number of people had arrived. Nearly all individuals from his own faction as well as those aligned with Henry Ford were in attendance, creating a bustling scene in the living room.
Seeing Peter emerge, everyone greeted him one after another.
Peter reciprocated warmly, saying hello to everyone.
After taking a seat, River Hill said, "Boss, congratulations on becoming our company's manager."
"Yeah, it was only after Mr. Armstrong called me that I found out."
Peter intentionally mentioned the phone call from Tobia Armstrong. Sometimes showing off one's connections was necessary, as everyone had already placed him in Tobia Armstrong's camp, there was no reason to hide it.
Sure enough, when everyone heard that it was indeed Tobia Armstrong who had called, their eyes sparkled with even more surprise and delight.
