Watching Azrael Richardson being taken away in a car, the people at the branch office all stood there with wide eyes, dumbstruck.
"Come to my office for a moment,"
Henry Carter said to Peter Brown and the others standing there.
Everyone followed Henry Carter into his office.
After everyone sat down, Henry Carter sighed and said, "I never expected Azrael to get into trouble!"
This was something that no one had anticipated; Richardson had been taken away by the Discipline Inspection Department first thing in the morning for his involvement in a case where someone had accused him of bribery.
With a heavy heart, Matthew Clarkson said, "In construction, there's always some under-the-table dealings; with the province taking action like this, who knows what will happen next!"
The deputy managers also began to shake their heads and sigh.
"Yeah, it's said that Richardson got tangled up in some sort of incident!"
At this point, it was clear that no one was in the mood to talk.
