After his talk with Henry Carter, Peter Brown returned to his room and, after some thought, decided to call Leah Nelson.
"Manager Walter, what made you think to call me?" Leah Nelson asked with a playful tone, starting a joke.
Peter laughed and said, "You actually know I got promoted!"
Leah Nelson laughed, "How could I not? You're quite the celebrity now. There's hardly anyone who doesn't know you. You've become very popular. This time, because of your exceptional performance, Mr. Armstrong from the Group personally nominated you to be the deputy manager of our branch, specifically in charge of technology. How about that? You should take care of your old subordinate, shouldn't you?"
Peter shook his head. It seemed this news had spread early on.
"I'm calling to talk to you about something."
"Go ahead."
