After dinner, Peter Brown truly found himself with nothing to do, so he lay on the bed watching TV, pondering what he should do.
Visit Rylan Williams?
After thinking it over, Peter decided against it. Rylan was very popular now, certainly visited by many, and it wouldn't mean anything for him to go now. After all, he had been calling every day to report on the branch office's work, and Rylan's favorable impression of him was significantly rising—at least he wouldn't be kicked out of the branch office for now.
While thinking, Peter's thoughts shifted to Henry Ford, who, regardless of his personality, had treated him well in matters concerning himself.
With that thought, Peter started dialing Henry Ford's number.
Since Henry had moved to the headquarters, even as a Deputy Chief Engineer, his actual power wasn't as great as before. He was sitting at home watching TV when he received Peter's call and responded with a smile, "Peter, what's up?"
