"Joseph, stop the car, go buy a pack of cigarettes,"
After Joseph Smith stopped the car, he glanced at Peter Brown and got out to wait.
Although Henry Ford verbally said that Joseph Smith was one of his, Joseph was aware that he wouldn't be let in on key issues. He was used to this and just curious about Peter, who had recently gained Henry's trust.
Seeing Joseph had left the car and walked away, Henry spoke with a serious expression, "What did you hear this time?"
Henry was pleased whenever Peter could provide useful intelligence. He felt it was a smart move to have assigned Peter to the office.
Peter had also thought it through; the issue didn't seem to pose a great harm to Henry, but in the world of officialdom, nothing was certain, and there could be hidden dangers. Wanting to secure his position, Peter decided to share this matter with Henry.
