The next day at work, Vincent Clinton arrived looking like he hadn't slept well, his complexion had turned quite ghastly.
"Reid Nelson, come to my office," Vincent Clinton said to Reid Nelson with just that sentence.
Reid Nelson was taken aback but still stood up and agreed with a response.
Peter Brown watched Reid Nelson follow Vincent Clinton out and had a thought; he simply started a small program on his computer.
This was a program Peter Brown used to eavesdrop on Christian Greenhill's computer, which, because Christian Greenhill's computer was always disconnected from the power and network cable, could pick up the sounds in the office as soon as it was activated.
Soon, the program was up and running, and then the conversation between Vincent Clinton and Reid Nelson began to come through Peter Brown's headphones.
