The night had already deepened when Peter Brown glanced around and saw no one else outside, he proceeded towards Vincent Clinton's office with the key he had already obtained in the office.
In fact, Vincent Clinton and Christian Greenhill shared an office space. However, as both were often busy with their matters, it was rare for them to be present at the office simultaneously. Peter had carefully thought through today's event, understanding that even if he took evidence belonging to Vincent Clinton, Vincent would never suspect him of being behind it.
Since the Integrated Office had the keys for cleaning purposes, Peter took advantage of a moment when Reid Nelson was distracted to take the key and get a copy made outside.
Fortunately, Peter had read a wide variety of books, including some on detective work, so he was certain he wouldn't leave any traces behind - although he also knew that even if he did take something, Vincent wouldn't speak out about it.
