The Devouring Sky Beast is a rare Alien Beast; even that wild master didn't know from which direction he had acquired such a creature. Since it was attached to the seed, naturally, when its owner died, it would seek a new master.
After Peter Brown absorbed the seed, the soul of the Immortal Beast naturally entered as well.
Now, Peter was somewhat troubled. In theory, the seed of the Devouring Sky Beast should be the dominant one and should swallow the Carnivorous Flower, but Peter found himself somewhat reluctant to let the Carnivorous Flower go. Not to be underestimated for being a mere plant, the Carnivorous Flower was also a very powerful devouring entity.
Peter had already hidden to one side and even used an Invisibility Talisman to conceal himself, as he now wanted to seriously study the matter of this wild species.
A glance over revealed that everyone was now embroiled in a chaotic battle on the battlefield.
