Peter Brown had just escaped when his heart shuddered, as he noticed a Flying Dragon heading straight for him, darkening the azure sky above.
It seemed that the dragon was determined to rob him of his holy fate, as it would stop at nothing to take it from him!
Now Peter truly understood that as long as one possesses a holy fate, a natural desire for conflict arises.
Not only did the dragon harbor such an intense longing, but Peter himself felt a burning desire within. He even harbored a strong urge to slay the dragon.
If Peter's willpower were not so steadfast, he would have likely charged at it by now.
He used the strongest force of his will to prevent such reckless behavior.
In Peter's hand was only a Short Sword, but he knew all too well that this weapon was useless to him, far less effective than his own fist techniques.
Yet faced with the formidable might of such an Immortal Beast as the Flying Dragon, Peter had no chance of victory.
