Freddie Hamilton didn't know what Peter Brown was really thinking; once he connected the call, he just waited for Peter to speak.
"I know Our Country is interested in my Sonic device, am I right?"
In his mind, Freddie thought it was an understatement to be 'interested', as any conditions could be agreed upon to get their hands on it. However, he calmly replied, "That's right, are you willing to sell it to the country?"
Everyone was aware of Peter's situation and knew that expecting him to give it away for free was impossible.
Peter chuckled and said, "Yes, I can make an exchange with the country."
Freddie retorted with curiosity, "What kind of exchange?"
"I've invented a type of eye drops that can cure any eye disease just by dropping them into the eyes, and it also acts as a gene repair medicine."
Freddie, being nearsighted himself, was curious about the product and asked, "Can it even cure nearsightedness?"
"Yes, no problem at all."
