Peter Brown did not bother about everyone's thoughts and even dismantled the formation at the square, allowing the experts to move freely.
Originally, Peter's plan was to forcefully make them surrender, but later he changed his mind. Forcing them to submit wouldn't make much sense, as their cultivation wasn't too high - there were only a few Early Nascent Soul stage cultivators. So, Peter simply let them leave to see what kind of choice they would make.
Returning to the manor, Peter brewed a pot of tea and sipped it while pondering his next move.
