As expected, after the Treasure Hunting Rabbit conveyed Peter's intention, the black bear began walking towards the forest while gnawing on the ham.
Peter had not initially wanted to enter the forest because it seemed small and he could see its margins clearly. Thus, he hadn't entered earlier.
