Peter Brown found a chair and sat down, looking at Alexander Lee who was now staring blankly into space.
Esme Carter sat down next to Peter and whispered, "Peter, you really know how to make a scene. Just when you thought nothing was going on, you surprised everyone. Things are really heating up now."
Peter didn't pay him any mind and continued to think about his own matters. He had acted impulsively this time. He didn't need to personally step in, but instead could have just arranged for Esme Carter to handle things. His decision to step onto the battlefield himself was unnecessary. The commander should be at the rear, right?
Reflecting on this, Peter realized he still lacked experience in certain areas. In the future, when dealing with such matters, if he could avoid rushing to the front, he should. Wouldn't it be better to manipulate things from behind the scenes?
