At a time when people in the township were secretly competing, an unexpected deputy arrived out of the blue.
Peter Brown didn't find out about this until he was called into a meeting after arriving at his office. The newcomer was named Esme Carter, a young man wearing designer clothes, and he was astonishingly accompanied by the county Party Organization Department head.
Seeing that the leading members of the township had arrived, Department Head Jasper Smith looked at everyone and announced the appointment document from the county.
Peter Brown noticed that Esme Carter kept looking in his direction as Jasper Smith made the announcement.
After the announcement, Jasper Smith continued, "Comrades, Comrade Esme Carter is from the province. He has a high education background and will undoubtedly contribute to our development here. Everyone must unite, think and strive in the same direction...."
