After everyone finished eating, Peter Brown brought out fruits for everyone to eat and then took a satellite phone out of his ring.
"You...if you had a phone, why didn't you take it out earlier?" Maurren Smith was stunned when she saw Peter Brown pull out a satellite phone, only then did she remember this way of communication for finding people.
Both of them were soaked in water, and all the items they were carrying were lost, which naturally made Maurren forget about Peter's ring.
"Why make a call before finishing my meal, what if they locate us?" said Peter Brown earnestly.
Maurren Smith was startled, and secretly admired Peter Brown's savvy. If their location was satellite-tracked, she didn't know what would happen if an artillery bombardment was directed at them.
"Just in case, you go towards that mountain ahead, preferably find a place out of artillery range. I'll find a place to make a call." said Peter.
