"Peter, I heard there would be a lot of people, so I got a minibus for us."
Reuben Taylor's car was in the lead, followed by a small bus that was quite new. As soon as Reuben got out of the car, he walked quickly towards Peter Brown, who he now had a lot of faith in because of Peter's growing mysterious abilities.
"Mom, let's get on the bus."
Seeing that an experienced driver was in charge, Peter felt reassured.
"Thank you, thank you."
The old lady glanced at Reuben Taylor and knew that he was Mayor Taylor's son. She couldn't help but feel some reverence for him.
Peter didn't pay much attention to Reuben and helped the old lady into his SUV. "Granny, you should ride in my car."
Whether she liked it or not, Peter helped her into the car.
Liza Smith said to Raven Walter, "You go with everyone on the bus, and I'll take care of mom." Then she got into Peter's car as well.
Rachel Williams was already sitting in the front passenger seat.
