In an instant, the woman suddenly felt unafraid and turned to look at the gigantic structure, as well as the corpses that were being continuously devoured. She roughly understood something — this place was most likely Nest X, the lair of those monsters, and there was no doubt that these monsters were constantly devouring the bodies of the dark emissaries, which then allowed them to hatch new monsters.
Having figured this out, she wasn't as terrified anymore. However, she soon discovered that those beetle-like creatures were dragging back not only bodies but also some unidentified mineral crystals; she even spotted some energy batteries used by the dark emissaries.
All of these items were being thrown into Nest X. But... could these items be consumed as well? She didn't ponder on it for long and quickly left with her son in her arms. Although she hadn't been harmed by those creatures, she didn't want to see the little bugs anymore.
