Soon, Finn Lewis lost interest in the battlefield below because the area had, at some point, become completely overrun with these strange birds. Although they posed almost no threat to Lewis's mecha, they desperately and crazily clung to him, trying to drag him down from the sky.
The other mechas were in a similar situation, but fortunately, these strange birds had not yet attacked the battlefield below. However, Lewis soon realized why the birds had not gone to the ground below but were frantically attacking them instead. His radar showed a new situation emerging, with life energy readings for a new type of monster even higher than before.
These monsters were clearly ground combat units. They were fewer in number, but their life energy was more than twice that of the strange birds that Lewis was currently fighting!
