"What's in it for me?" Helena was quite straightforward.
"What do you want? In need of money? I'll give you a hundred billion star credits to spend." Finn Lewis spoke crisply. To him, star credits meant nothing now; when the Dark Messenger strikes, money will become useless, as one could see from Earth's wars.
So Lewis didn't care about it at all, especially since this was not a war between two countries, but a battle to the death.
Helena was rendered speechless and couldn't help but look Lewis up and down before speaking, "You really are as the rumors describe, rich and impressive. Alright, considering you are so generous, I'll help you out. But I must be clear about a few things upfront—I can't guarantee if my father will agree."
"Trust me, he will," Lewis said blandly.
