Norton James was now looking utterly stupefied, and everyone who had witnessed the scene that afternoon couldn't help but divert their attention to him. Recalling how Finn Lewis had called Norton James stingy that afternoon, and how Norton James had pretentiously carried himself then, everyone found this…indescribably humorous, staring at James from their perspective which seemed peculiar as never before.
Norton James felt hot all over his face now, and it seemed as though everyone was looking at him as if he was a massive idiot. In fact, it was pretty much the case since everyone was looking at him like he was a fool. Thinking about the incidents that happened in the afternoon, particularly the last sentence that Lewis said before leaving, everyone found the scene absurdly comical.
