"No, this doll is quite expensive. I heard from a friend that it is worth a lot of money. It could buy Zoe food and lots of ice cream for many, many days." Zoe drew a big circle with her hands to show the enormous amount she had in mind. Finn Lewis paused, then crouched down, thought for a moment, and gently asked, "Zoe, can you first tell me if you like it?"
"I like it. I like everything that Big Brother gives me." Zoe nodded her head earnestly. To prove her liking, she even held the two dolls close to her.
"If Zoe likes it, that's good. However, these dolls are not very expensive, because Big Brother didn't buy the authentic ones. They are the cheaper kind. Later, when Big Brother has earned more money, he can buy you a real doll. How about that?" Finn explained gently. The authentic, limited-edition Barbie dolls in Zoe's hands were labeled as knock-offs by Finn.
