Chapter 27 - Long-Term Task
"You just said there's a long-term mission for me. What's that?" Trying to keep his emotions in check, Finn Lewis lay down on the sofa and asked in a weak voice.
"Mission objective: Make the top domestic celebrity, Kay Lee, your girlfriend."
Finn, taken aback, sprung up from the sofa and hollered with bloodshot eyes, "Zero, damn you!"
Finn behaved like a wild cat whose tail has been stepped on, becoming hysterical in an instant.
"Why are you reacting this way? Is it because I have entered your life, discovering some of your secrets?", Zero inquired in its usual indifferent tone.
"Hell with you! I don't want you messing up the ideal image I have in my mind.", Finn vented and then calmed down. He faltered onto the sofa with a bitter smile.
