Chereads / Perfect Tamim / Chapter 49 - A feisty Cat

Chapter 49 - A feisty Cat

It was 6am when something clicked beside him.

Startled, he squinted his eyes as he had just awoken from a deep slumber.

He was so tired from the trip and had not rested when he went to her school.

It was Tamim, she was surprised to find Anton sleeping by her door disheveled.

She found him handsome and however her head was more controlling this time than her heart.

He was gone for too long.

And she hated it.

Without communication or anything, he was gone for a month, she was worried her parents had hired someone to kidnap or take him down.

Apart from the fact he left her for too long without sending a message, she was worried about him.

She overthinked a lot and she almost went mad.

She didn't like how it made her feel..

Seeing him look disheveled and in an uncomfortable manner, she was going to admire his beauty more when he woke.

As soon as their eyes met, she hurried away leaving him to gather himself and chase after her.

"Tamim!" He said, by now he was now frustrated.

He had no idea what his offense was and had no way of knowing either.

While he gathered himself, she was already ahead and by the time he chased after her he had lost her.

That day, Anton realized that indeed his house was big.

He finally found her near the garden with Mrs James by her side holding a tray.

"Tam! We need to talk" he said furiously.

She didn't reply.

"I'm talking to you Tam!" He shouted.

His shout made the maids stop and scurry away as fast as they could.

Their young master was quite agitated.

The shout startled her and she pierced her finger with the secateurs she was holding.

She was trying to trim the plants.

Antony's heart skipped a beat.

He tried to check the wound but she made a stop sign with her hand telling him not to inch closer with her eyes.

"What's going on, huh? Tam?" He said few inches away from her.

She wrapped her wound with the help of Mrs James. She walked towards Joseph.

His heartbeat fast.

Unsure of what it is to come.

' I'll make him regret ever leaving me' Tamim thought.

As she inched closer, his heart beat faster.

However the heated conversation he had expected did not come because Tamim ignored him totally and walked away from him.

Now frustrated at her, he reached towards her and grabbed her hand .

"Don't be a chicken, let's settle this once and for all!" He screamed.

"Let go of me" Tamim cried out as she tried to get away from him.

"No, I'm not letting you go until you tell me what this is about" he replied, refusing to let her go.

"I said let me go!" She shouted hitting his chest with her other hand and trashing him with her legs.

"Nooo! Tell me right now or you're going nowhere" Anton said.

"You're hurting me" Tamim voice came as a whisper, by the time he looked at her hand he saw the finger that got pierced start seeping out blood again even with the bandage on.

Seeing him distracted, she grabbed her hand away from his and started walking away sluggishly, exhausted in every aspect.

"You were the first person I came to see when I got back, I didn't rest, I didn't take a shower. Do you know how eager I was to see you and you're treating me this way? Do you know what it took to be back this early?"

What he said made Tamim stop in her tracks. Few seconds passed by with a deafening silence.

"I'm sure you sacrificed something important, you shouldn't have done that"

"I did it for you!"

" Don't lie to me like you did something great"

"What are you saying?!"

"I...!!" She roared. "I left my parents for you, I literally left everyone I had for you but you went off for a month and left me all by myself with people I have known for lesser than a year. If this is how you would treat me then I should have continued to be the perfect daughter to my parents and you never should have come back, you this piece of shit!!!"

She said angrily, storming out of the garden like she was going to swallow everything in her way whole.

For some reason, she seemed scarier than their master, the maids thought.
