When Tamim finally broke the kiss, startled Anton was red as crimson.
Tamim chuckled as she found him cute.
He was still in a daze when he heard a click sound.
It was Tamim and she took a picture of him.
He tried to take the phone from her but she instead scurried away from him.
What was supposed to be a game of fetch turned into some lovey dovey play.
With Tamim laughing and Anton smiling.
He was indeed trying to get the phone but it was still cutely done.
Eventually he gave up.
And the both of them just laid in bed exhausted early in the morning.
Tamim went back to her room with her husband carrying in bridal style and helping her to brush her teeth.
Anton left her there as he had something urgent to do and said he'll come check her later.
Tamim scrolled through her phone as she saw an article catch her eyes.
'Famous young successful Genius, Mr Wilson rumoured to have married in secret'
It was Anton they were talking about, she wasn't even interested in what they had to say but the long appraisal, 'FAMOUS YOUNG SUCCESSFUL GENIUS, MR WILSON'
She had no idea whatsoever that her husband was that endowed.
Yes, endowed with brains and money.
Lucky me, she thought.
She searched for his name on Google and what she found made her want to cry,
'what have I been doing with my life?'
She asked herself in which her subconscious replied,
"Well, listening to mama and Dada"
"Oh yeah that's true" she replied herself.
"While you were busy drowning inside the pool your parents threw you in. He was being elevated with the ladder is parents built for him"
"Hm..I guess"
"Yes and that's why you both are very different"
"What do you mean?" Tamim asking her subconscious.
"He had and has a lot of things you lack and lacked. Love, care, choice making and attention and perhaps friends"
"I have a friend...I have that one"
"That's why I said friendS, you and I know that apart from Li you have no one"
"Well Mr Kim was my friend too, you know"
"Yeah a middle aged man"
"Huh...so what are you drawing at?"
"I'm telling you being his wife will weigh him down. You have a lot to heal from, scars and trauma that he could never imagine. In the end he would not be able to take it and eventually he'll have to let you go and you'll have to let him go"
"I guessed. I wouldn't be surprised if he left me to fend for myself. This cross might be too huge for him to carry. What should I do then?"
The voice in her head whispered "Try not to fall for him, try not to give your all in this marriage because if eventually he can't take a broken and mentally exhausted person like you anymore you'll be fine to let him go too"
"Broken I get but mentally exhausted. No I'm not..."
"I'm just a voice in your head, I'm you and you, I and you just literally completed a conversation with yourself"
Tamim: (...!!)
She had been talking and replying to herself like a mad person.
No, not like a mad person but she was the mad person.
