Aurora's eyes slowly flickered open as the rays from the sun streamed through her window, casting a soft glow across her bedroom. The soft, warm air from the morning breeze brought with it a sweet scent of flowers from the garden outside. Her eyes adjusted to the light, and she noticed the room was completely empty. Perhaps it was all a dream? She sighed sadly, thinking the intense night with Azrael was just a dream.
Slowly, she sat up, stretching her hand above her head as she yawned, and she turned to face her side. To her surprise, she found herself staring face-to-face with Azrael, who was seated in a relaxed manner, his back against the headboard, and a faint smile played on his lips as he watched her awaken.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty," he greeted, his voice a velvety whisper.
Aurora blinked in astonishment, realizing the reality of the previous night. Her cheeks flushed, and she stammered, "I... I thought it was a dream."
